THERMOL™'s performance has been tested in internal combustion engines at Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun (IIP). The official test reports confirm that the IS-specifications of petrol and diesel do not change after addition of THERMOL™. THERMOL™ addition in gensets results in better fuel economy and reduced pollution levels with diesel and kerosene as fuels. This effect of THERMOL™ has been proven in tractors, harvesters, grabbers, cranes and other earth moving power-machines, and also in every equipment which has a diesel engine (mining equipment, asphalt mixers, coal- and stone graders etc.). It has been proven in all cases that, with application of THERMOL™, operation hours will increase by 5-10% while using the same amount of fuel, and the noise and emitted smoke of the engine will be reduced simultaneously.
